STEP is Cambridge University’s mathematics entrance exam. Other universities take STEP results into consideration, including: Warwick, Imperial, KCL, UCL, Bath, Lancaster, Bristol, Southampton and Durham. Cambridge University has made a great effort to make STEP accessible to all deserving and hardworking candidates through their website.
MAT is Oxford’s mathematics entrance paper, sat much earlier (October 31st), that is used in admissions to Oxford and Imperial for mathematics based courses. Whilst the style of examination is different to STEP, there is plenty of overlap in content and so constitutes good practise for STEP and vice versa.
I am offering classes and workshops to help students gain familiarity and understanding of STEP and MAT. These will be based at my office in WeWork Old St.
